Meet Jhive: Join Us at the Midweek Kiddush Club Event in aid of Jhive on 10th June 2026
On 10 June we are opening the doors and inviting the community to meet us properly for the first time.
If you have followed Jhive for a while, you already have a sense of what we do. This post is a chance to bring it together in one place, and an invitation to join us at our first official fundraiser in central London.
Where we are now
Jhive is a registered charity (number 1132831) operating across three connected areas:
- IHRA-based antisemitism training and Jewish cultural competence work, delivered into corporates, public sector bodies and third sector organisations
- The Jewish Inclusive Workplace Standard, an accreditation that gives organisations a clear framework to measure themselves against
- HR and EDI guidance, alongside a remit for Jewish entrepreneurship, with a programme currently in development
We are also building an AI-powered tool that helps organisations assess whether their internal communications cross into antisemitism, giving HR and communications teams a practical way to spot risks before they cause harm.
Why independence matters
Jhive is deliberately independent of communal foundations and advocacy groups. That is not an accident. The organisations we work with, from corporates to public sector teams, need to trust that our training, our standards and our guidance are not driven by anyone else’s agenda. Independence lets us engage in rooms where this kind of support is genuinely needed, and it lets us be honest with the people we are supporting.
What the work actually looks like
Behind the headline activities sit the things that make the difference day to day:
- Listening sessions for Jewish employees, run remotely and in person, where people can speak openly about what they are experiencing at work
- Honest reports back to organisations on where they stand, and what they need to do to rebuild or strengthen their relationship with Jewish staff
- Training sessions for HR, EDI teams, senior leadership and general employees, covering what Judaism is, who the Jewish people are, and how antisemitism shows up in workplace settings
- Practical policy and process work, sitting with HR leads to walk through what IHRA means in real situations and what good looks like when something goes wrong
The aim is straightforward. Jewish employees feel safe at work when the people around them are informed and equipped to act as allies. That is what we are building.
Reach
We work with organisations across the UK and deliver international training where it is needed. As a small, independent charity without core funding, we are often able to support organisations that would not otherwise have access to this kind of expertise.
The Midweek Kiddush Club, 10 June
On 10 June we are hosting our first official fundraiser at a central London venue. It will be an evening of drinks, good conversation and high-quality networking, and it is the first time we are formally introducing Jhive to the wider community.
This is your invitation to come along, meet the team, hear directly about the work, and decide for yourself whether this is something you want to see grow.
Tickets are £40. Every ticket goes directly into supporting the work above.
Whether you are part of the community or one of its allies, we would love to see you there. Bring someone with you.
