The Jewish Inclusive Workplace Standard is a benchmark for measuring and demonstrating Jewish inclusion. It recognises employers that demonstrate genuine, sustained, and measurable commitment to Jewish inclusion within their workforce.
Developed and delivered by Jhive, this framework provides UK organisations with a structured, criteria-based way to assess, strengthen, and demonstrate their inclusion practices relating to Jewish employees.

The Jewish Inclusive Workplace Standard sets the UK benchmark for Jewish inclusion at work. It is not a simple training certificate, but a holistic standard that measures understanding, engagement, and impact.

The Jewish Inclusive Workplace Standard Framework
The framework is built on a balance of mandatory and optional criteria, independently reviewed by Jhive’s internal assessors. The accreditation offers two levels of recognition—Standard and Champion—designed to accommodate organisations of varying sizes, cultures, and levels of EDI maturity.
An initial complimentary assessment helps identify your organisation’s current position and the steps required to achieve accreditation.
Each organisation is assigned a dedicated point of contact to coordinate engagement with Jhive’s assessor, ensuring clear communication and consistency throughout the process.
Jhive offers advisory support, guidance, and practical recommendations at each stage, helping you embed Jewish inclusion into your broader equality, diversity, and inclusion strategy.
The Assessment Process
Accreditation begins with a discovery conversation to understand your organisation’s structure and to explore what’s already in place: policies, employee surveys, EDI blueprint, training programmes, and any existing inclusion initiatives.
Following this, Jhive conducts an internal assessment to identify your starting point and readiness for accreditation. You’ll receive feedback outlining the actions required to reach your target level and how Jhive can support implementation.
Implementation typically involves aligning existing HR and EDI frameworks with Jewish inclusion best practice, covering areas such as training, data collection, employee engagement, and internal communications..
Jhive’s HR specialists can support you throughout this process. Responsibility for implementation remains with the organisation, ensuring that progress is authentic, sustainable, and led from within.
Ongoing Validation
Accredited organisations are reviewed annually to confirm continued alignment with the Standard and to identify opportunities for ongoing improvement. This annual validation ensures that inclusion remains active, not static, a continuous process of growth and accountability.
