Jewish Cultural Competence Training for Inclusive Workplaces
Understanding Jewish culture is an essential part of building inclusive workplaces.
Jhive’s Jewish Cultural Competence Training helps organisations, teams, and leaders gain confidence and awareness in engaging with Jewish employees, clients, and communities.
Delivered by experienced facilitators, our workshops explore the diversity of Jewish life, from Secular, Progressive to Strictly Orthodox communities, and provide practical guidance on how to create respectful, informed, and inclusive working environments.
This is more than awareness training. It’s about building genuine understanding and equipping your people to communicate, collaborate, and lead inclusively.
Why Jewish Cultural Competence Matters
Jewish employees are frequently absent from workplace diversity discussions, yet their experiences of exclusion or misunderstanding are all too common. Research from the Board of Deputies of British Jews (April 2025) found that only 15% of UK workplaces include antisemitism in their EDI training—training that would typically cover Judaism, the Jewish people, and their needs in the workplace, leaving many managers without the knowledge to support Jewish staff effectively.
This is where cultural competence makes the difference. When colleagues and leaders understand Jewish life, religious observance, and the different denominations they may encounter, Jewish employees feel seen, respected, and able to bring their whole selves to work.
Jhive’s Jewish Cultural Competence Training helps organisations build this understanding, providing practical, respectful, and informed guidance that turns good intentions into meaningful inclusion.

What Participants Say
Really engaging and informative. I came away feeling more open-minded and informed about engaging with Jewish individuals, both in the workplace and beyond.
— Workshop Participant
The session covered everything I wanted to learn and met the needs of the team. It was very well presented, and I especially appreciated the dual-presenter approach (featuring speakers from both the Orthodox and Secular segments of the community), which helped facilitate group discussion.
