About Jhive

Who We Are

Jhive – A Hive of Jewish Support

Jhive is an antisemitism charity dedicated to tackling antisemitism through education, training, and Jewish inclusion support. We help organisations create workplaces where Jewish employees feel safe, respected, and valued, while also empowering Jewish entrepreneurs to explore, build, and launch startups.

Founded by Daniel Levy at the end of 2022 and launched in 2023, Jhive grew out of his lived experiences of antisemitism in the workplace and the isolation that so often follows.

Daniel saw not only the harm caused by antisemitism itself, but also the stigma attached to speaking about it—the silence, discomfort, and avoidance that too often surround these conversations.

As a former Jewish startup entrepreneur, he also recognised the absence of dedicated spaces for Jewish founders to find support, community, and a sense of belonging, both within the Jewish community and beyond it.

Jhive was created to change that—through education, empowerment, and connection.

What We Do

At Jhive, our work focuses on three core areas:

1. Tackling Antisemitism Through Education

We deliver antisemitism workshops and online training that help employers recognise, prevent, and respond to antisemitism in the workplace. Each session is grounded in the IHRA definition and real workplace scenarios, delivered by experienced facilitators, offering:

  • A clear understanding of what antisemitism looks like today, using the IHRA definition as a framework
  • Practical steps for building allyship, improving confidence, and addressing antisemitic incidents constructively
  • Co-created case studies drawn from real workplace scenarios

Our workshops are available in person and online, making antisemitism training accessible to teams of all sizes across the UK and internationally.

2. Providing Inclusion Support for Organisations

We work directly with HR, EDI, and leadership teams to provide practical inclusion support—helping organisations build policies, practices, and workplace cultures where Jewish inclusion is part of everyday working life.

This includes:

  • Facilitated listening sessions for Jewish employees
  • Support for Jewish staff networks and inclusion strategies
  • Guidance for EDI professionals seeking expert Jewish inclusion input

These services help ensure inclusion becomes embedded in organisational culture, not treated as a one-off or compliance exercise.

3. Supporting Jewish Entrepreneurship

Jhive’s commitment to inclusion extends beyond the workplace. Through JLeap, we support Jewish founders and early-stage entrepreneurs to turn ideas into impact. The programme provides mentorship, peer support, and practical guidance in an environment where Jewish entrepreneurs can thrive.

JLeap was created to address the lack of structured support for Jewish tech entrepreneurs within the community. It creates space for early-stage founders to connect, grow, and access the networks and guidance they need to build their startups.

Our Mission

To tackle antisemitism and strengthen Jewish inclusion in the workplace, while creating the next generation of Jewish entrepreneurs.

Why Our Work Matters

Antisemitism remains one of the most persistent and misunderstood forms of discrimination in the UK. In 2025, research by Work Avenue found that nearly two-thirds of Jewish employees have experienced antisemitism at work. Too often, these experiences go unrecognised, minimised, or misunderstood, leaving Jewish employees feeling isolated and unsupported.

At Jhive, we exist to close this gap. We help organisations move beyond good intentions to informed, confident action. Through education, listening, and practical guidance, we support employers, HR teams, and leaders to understand antisemitism as it appears today and to respond in ways that genuinely protect and include Jewish employees. This work is not only about meeting obligations—it is about shaping workplace cultures where respect, trust, and allyship are actively lived.

Our commitment to inclusion also looks forward. Jewish visibility, safety, and opportunity are shaped not only by workplaces, but by who is supported to lead, innovate, and build. Through our entrepreneurship work, including JLeap, we help Jewish founders and early-stage entrepreneurs access the mentorship, networks, and confidence they need to thrive. In doing so, we strengthen representation and opportunity in sectors where Jewish participation remains limited in the UK.

At Jhive, we believe inclusion and entrepreneurship are deeply connected. Both are about belonging, opportunity, and building the capacity of individuals and organisations to support others. By addressing antisemitism and empowering Jewish leadership, we contribute to stronger workplaces, healthier communities, and a more inclusive society.

Meet Daniel Levy

Founder and Executive Director of Jhive

About Daniel Levy

Daniel Levy is an antisemitism and Jewish cultural competence educator, and a specialist in Jewish workplace inclusion. He is also the creator of the Jewish Inclusive Workplace Standard, a UK benchmark for measuring and improving Jewish inclusion in the workplace.

Daniel serves as a Jewish Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) representative on a number of committees and has participated in roundtables on workplace inclusion, employability, and interfaith engagement with organisations including the Department for Work and Pensions, City of London Corporation, Building People, London Property Alliance, and UKREiiF, where Jhive was a Jewish EDI charity partner. He is a speaker on antisemitism education, EDI, and building Jewish inclusive workplaces.

Daniel also brings over 15 years’ experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, and community leadership. Prior to founding Jhive, he co-founded Jews-in-Technology, an international community spanning 15 countries, connecting and mentoring Jewish professionals across the technology sector.

At Jhive, Daniel combines his expertise in Jewish inclusion with his entrepreneurial background. He oversees a carefully selected, best-practice team delivering antisemitism training and Jewish inclusion support to UK employers, working closely with HR, EDI, and leadership teams to help organisations move from awareness to action. He also leads initiatives supporting early-stage Jewish founders.

Daniel believes that antisemitism training and Jewish inclusion work are most effective when delivered by mission-led charities rather than commercial providers. This work depends on trust, independence, and confidence, from both Jewish employees and employers, that content is not shaped by commercial incentives or external agendas.

Jhive does not accept funding from charitable foundations or advocacy groups for the provision of our Jewish Inclusion services, including antisemitism training. This ensures there is no external influence on our training content or delivery. We are funded by the organisations we serve and by individual donors who share our mission. This independence allows us to act as a trusted partner to employers and Jewish employees alike, creating an open learning environment focused on meaningful cultural change.
